He has brought in two players that will start immediately, and two to start in 2025.

2024 Syracuse Football Recruits

Michael Nwokocha

Orange 2024 JUCO Commit Michael Nwokocha – n.rivals.com

We begin with a player who was a highly star-rated prospect, playing junior college ball in Tyler, Texas.

Junior College defensive tackle, Michael Nwokocha is a big man. At 6’5″, 290 lbs., he is expected to come in and be an immediate run-stopping interior d-lineman the minute he steps on campus.

Nwokocha ran an amazing 40-time of 4.76 for a human being who is 6’5″, and nearly 300 pounds. He could be the college, Aaron Donald in Elijah Robinson’s defense.

The fast athlete was ranked a 4-star JUCO prospect playing for one of the country’s best community colleges: in the Lone Star State.

He chose Syracuse over ASU, Georgia, Houston, Indiana, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Purdue, TCU, Tennessee, and West Virginia.

The defensive tackle will have 2-years to show why he was recruited for early playing time.

Travis Brown-Miller

The next player added to this talented class is, Big Travis Brown-Miller. Coming in as a freshman, he is listed as 6’5″, 320 lbs.

The Teaneck native was one of five offensive linemen selected to the ALL Ivy Red Conference First Team, by NorthJersey.com.

Brown-Miller is very athletic and can help protect Syracuse Football in the passing game. It allows open lanes for their run game.

Fran Brown made it clear. He wanted to overhaul their offensive line with big players on the interior line.

It would help the team to win games in the trenches with big hulking tackles to protect the quarterback’s blindside.

The multi-talented tackle is expected to compete for early playing time.

2025 Syracuse Football Recruits

Byron Washington

Orange 2025 commit Byron Washington – texasfootball.com

This next recruit is a monster with a big heart as well. Known as “Big Baby”, Byron Washington, is your stereotypical big o-lineman from Texas.

Out of DeSoto (TX), Washington is one of the biggest offensive linemen recruits in 2025.

The talented powerhouse is listed at 6’8″, 380 lbs.. If he can work on his footwork, he could be the Michael Oher of Syracuse Football.

Washington chose the Cuse over ASU, Baylor, Duke, Houston, Oregon, TCU, Texas, UCF, and others.

Look for the big man to be plugged in and playing early in 2025.

Darien Williams

Williams is a talented and hard-working in-state prospect with speed and athleticism. The class of 2025 junior is killing it at Christian Brothers Academy.

The wide receiver/defensive back is rated a top prospect in New York State. He chose Syracuse Football over Boston College, Colorado, Penn State, Pittsburgh, and many others.

The speedy track star may only be 6’0″, 165 lbs., however, he is fast. He can create separation from the defense and beat defenders down the field on go-routes.

He will have to polish up his route-running and hit the weight room in college. Therefore, this is a prospect Cuse couldn’t afford to miss out on.

Let’s hope these four highly-ranked recruited players work out for Fran Brown and the Syracuse Football team this season and into 2025.
