Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones says he is fully cleared to participate in training camp after recovering from the right Achilles injury that ended his 2025 season.

Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show on Monday, Jones confirmed he expects to take part in full-team drills when the Colts begin practice on Wednesday.

“I’m feeling good. Plan is to be back in 11-on-11, full team drills Wednesday when we start up practice.”

Although Jones acknowledged there is still some work to do before the regular season begins, he said he has no physical limitations as he continues his recovery.

“I’m in a really good spot. I can do everything. There’s nothing that I can’t do.”

The 29-year-old added that returning to full-speed practice should help him feel completely back to normal before the Colts open the season against the Baltimore Ravens.

Jones Looks to Build on Career-Best Season

Jones re-signed with Indianapolis this offseason on a two-year, $88 million contract that could reach $100 million after receiving the franchise tag.

Before suffering a season-ending Achilles tear in December, he was enjoying the best campaign of his career. Jones posted career highs in completion percentage (68%), yards per attempt (8.1) and QBR (63.0) while helping lead the Colts to an 8-2 start.

Jones further complicated his season by playing through a hairline fracture in his left fibula before injuring his Achilles in the opposite leg.

Jones’ return gives Indianapolis its starting quarterback back at full strength entering training camp.

The Colts report this week, with their first practice scheduled for Wednesday, as Jones prepares to resume full football activities and build toward Week 1 against the Ravens.
