The 2026 MLB All-Star Game between the AL and NL All-Stars remains about a month away. This year’s players have exemplified their play on the field and their character off it, showing why they should play in this year’s matchup.

Every year on the AL side, most fans pay attention to which players on the New York Yankees team are playing in the MLB All-Star Game, and for the right reasons. This year’s group is no exception, as the list includes some great players and familiar faces.

Let’s take a look at seven players on the New York Yankees team who could make the 2026 MLB All-Star Game.

1. RF- Aaron Judge

Even though Judge is on the IL for a stress right-rib fracture, he still makes it based on his name and the fact that when healthy, he’s still one of the best players in the MLB. The 6-foot-7, 282-pound power hitter was only batting .248 (through 59 games), but still has a .907 OPS with 17 home runs.

But with the Captain docked for a while, other players will have to step up and fill in for him as the team continues to rely on its dominant starting pitching rotation.

2. OF- Cody Bellinger

The second year, Yankee is fresh off signing his new five-year, $162.5 million contract. The skilled outfielder has really fit into the Yankees’ culture. He has a .270 batting average, an .839 OPS, with 10 home runs.

At 6-foot-3, Bellinger is a consistent batter who focuses more on contact rather than just home runs. He will have to become more of a key player with Judge out. With all of his talent, he is more than capable of fulfilling that role.

3. DH- Ben Rice

Even when Judge was healthy, Rice had been showing the New York fans he’s been underappreciated in the Bronx. The 25-year-old is batting .291 with a .989 OPS and leads the team ahead of Judge with 18 homers. He is currently facing a tough battle to earn enough votes, as he is competing against Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

Basically, the American League player of the last week of May is an emerging star right in front of our very eyes.

4. UP- José Caballero

Cabby has shown he can be a factor wherever you line him up on the baseball diamond. He is currently batting .259 with 5 home runs and has a .707 OPS. In addition to his offensive play, Caballero has shown that he can play shortstop, right field, or even second base.

Generally, Caballero is someone you’d like to have on your team. He is always ready to go when his name is called. Overall, he’s a lovable guy to be around and call your teammate.

5. RHP- Cam Schlittler

Schlittler has been a blessing in disguise since he burst onto the scene last year during the second half of the season. He’s a strikeout pitcher who blows hitters away with his 100 mph fastball and is trying his best to compete against Paul Skenes.

Additionally, he is 7-3 with a remarkable 1.82 ERA and 96 strikeouts to just 18 walks. He is slowly turning into the “Massachusetts Missile”, which is an homage to Ron Guidry’s “Louisiana Lightning.”

6. RHP- Will Warren

Warren is another big, fast-ball pitcher who has increased his velocity to 95-97mph this year. More importantly, he’s had better movement on his slider and sweeper pitches, so hitters don’t just jump off his fastball.

The 26-year-old has been a part of perhaps the best starting pitching rotation the Yankees have had in history since the 1998 Murder’s Row. Currently, he is 7-1 with a 3.28 ERA with 75 strikeouts and 19 walks.

7. 1B- Paul Goldschmidt

Goldschmidt has really been playing incredibly for the Yankees since he arrived in the Bronx last year. This season, his batting average is .285 with an .889 OPS and nine home runs.

The former NL MVP has that special clutch gene, and he seems to just collect timely hits when the Yanks need them most.

Don’t be surprised if the veteran makes it as an alternate for his continued outstanding play in the first half of the season.

While not every Yankee on this list can make it, it shows how many talented players they have year after year.
