BYU Wide Receiver has entered the transfer portal. Kody Epps who started most of last season when Nacua and Romney were injured. Epps was expected to be a top target for Slovis this coming fall as BYU moves into the Big 12. This big loss for the Cougars will definitely affect the Cougar Offense.
Kody Epps will be a great asset for any program and will get many offers and some that may cause him to transfer there. Epps returning to BYU will most likely be a long shot but I wouldn’t consider it a possibility. BYU has seen a couple of athletes enter the portal over the years and they have returned so keep an eye out for what he decides to do.
Kody Epps Wide Receiver
Kody Epps 5’11 185lbs Wide Receiver. This season he stepped up when Puka Nacua and Gunner Romney went down with injuries. Epps became Jaren Hall’s number 1 receiver to throw at any moment in the game. He played in eight games this year and had 459 reception yards on 39 receptions and six touchdowns. He started in four of those eight games and averaged 57 yards per game. Epps also became the first Cougar Freshman to record 100 yards in consecutive games against Notre Dame and Arkansas. Name to many All-American lists and mid-season Freshman teams by College Football News. This is despite missing five games with an injury. Epps will continue to play a big role on the Cougar offense next season no matter who is behind center.
