An arrest warrant has been issued for Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller, for assaulting his pregnant girlfriend.

The warrant was issued this morning, though the incident occurred yesterday, according to the Dallas Police Department. At around 11 am CT, Dallas Police responded to a disturbance call regarding the incident. According to the report, Miller got into a verbal altercation with the woman, which led to him assaulting her.

Miller, whose full name is Vonnie B’VSean Miller, reportedly fled the incident prior to the officers arriving. The victim was treated for minor injuries but did not need to be taken to a hospital, and thus is alright. It is unknown whether or not Miller has been detained at this point, although since a warrant was issued, he most likely has not been yet. However, that could change at any moment.

“This morning, we were made aware of an incident involving Von Miller,” the Bills said in a statement on Thursday. “We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this point.”

“We are aware of the matter and have been in contact with the club,” the NFL said in a statement on Thursday. “We have no further comment at this time.”

This is not the first time Miller has ran into trouble. Back in 2021, he was under investigation by police in Parker, Colorado, but no charges were officially filed. The details of that case remained private and were not publicly shared.

The 34-year-old linebacker is in the second year of a six-year, $120 million contract with the Bills. With the team sitting at 6-6 and currently in a bye week, it is unknown how or even if this warrant will affect Miller’s playing time this season.
