Armand Membou is one of the best prospects at right tackle in this 2025 NFL Draft class. Enjoying the best parts of his collegiate career in his junior year, he emerged as a reliable anchor on the right side of Missouri’s offensive line. He’s a smooth operator with solid technique against counters. A standard, well-rounded guy, he has all the tools to hold down a starting spot for years at the next level.

Background
Born in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Membou attended Lee’s Summit High. In his senior year, he led his team to the state semifinals. He earned four-star recruit status and was wanted by several FBS programs, including Kansas State, Kansas, Oregon, Iowa State, Nebraska, and Missouri. Ultimately, he committed to the Missouri Tigers.
Collegiate Accolades
Membou stepped up into RT starting positions in the final four games of his freshman season and established himself as an authority there. In the 2023 season, he was a key member of the offensive line that was a semifinalist for the Joe Moore Award. As the 2024 season approached, Membou earned a spot on Bruce Feldman’s Freaks List. He was named Second-team All-SEC after a standout junior year, where he recorded nine pressures and allowed zero sacks.
Scouting Report Summary
Membou is a composed tackle with elite body control. He moves pretty well and employs applaudable technique against counters. Membou showcases impressive body control and poise in his pass protection. He maintains excellent weight distribution during kick-slides while easily redirecting defenders on counter moves. Membou has an incredible ability to keep his hands independent and fluid. This allows him to mirror rushers effectively, neutralizing speed and edge-to-edge pressure.
His twitchy hands stifle rushers who get too close, while his athleticism and agility keep him connected to defenders on the arc. He reads twists and blitzes well, processing movement with clarity. He has the quickness and leverage to recover when off balance, while his upper-body power enables him to anchor and reset against challenging blocks.
Quite honestly, Membou doesn’t have traits that make you jump off your seat but he doesn’t have too pronounced weaknesses either. He simply does the basics—and consistently too. He’s not a great athlete but he makes up for it with his technique, body control, and ability to mirror rushers. His size also raises a few question marks but it hasn’t proven to be a problem just yet. He’s fundamentally sound with plenty of upside and profiles as a right tackle an NFL team can depend on for a long, long time.

Natural mover with control: Membou’s fluid movement helps him stay in phase with rushers and adapt to run-blocking angles with ease.
Stays upright and centered: Strong balance allows him to absorb contact and maintain positioning throughout reps.
Wins early in reps: Getting hands on first gives him the leverage to dictate engagement and slow down pass rush moves.
Quick recovery: Membou’s ability to quickly regain control and use leverage allows him to recover from losing position and still win the rep.
Nasty finisher: He brings a physical mindset to the trenches, driving through the whistle and setting a tone up front.
Weaknesses
Athleticism has a cap: While mobile, Membou might struggle with elite speed rushers at the pro level.
Needs to dictate the fight: When forced to react instead of initiate, he tends to look vulnerable.
Needs to add more strength to his frame: Extra play strength would boost his ability to anchor and move defenders off the ball.
