The first ten picks in this NFL years draft came to almost no suprise. Williams at number one and Daniels at number two. The suprise came with Michael Penix Jr and the fact that there were five quarterbacks in the first ten picks.

1. Bears

Caleb Williams USC QB

Williams was the Number one pick in this years NFL draft and he will be an asset for the Bears if he can play like a man and not cry after getting hit or loosing a game. He is 6’1 and 214 lbs out of USC where he played for two after transferring from Oklahoma. Williams had 599 completions for 8170 yards and 72 touchdowns in his career. Williams will have to be great on the field while keeping his emotions in check off the field. Football is a mans game not a boys game so him crying after a lose or being seen on the field making a scene.

2. Commanders

Jayden Daniels LSU QB

Daniels at number two was no surprise the Commanders needing a quarterback and they got to pick from all but one. He is 6’4 and 210 lbs out of LSU where he led the Tigers after many great years of many great quarterbacks. Daniels had 953 completions for 12749 yards and 89 touchdowns. He spent time at Arizona State and LSU and was a winner in both places. Daniels will be great for the Commanders if they can put weapons around him and look to protect him. A quarterback can’t be great without a line and or weapons down the field.

3. Patriots

Drake Maye QB NC

Maye was a good number three pick it wasn’t a big surprise but definetly something that the Patriots would do. He is 6’4 and 230 lbs out of North Carolina where he made the Tar Heels a Football school again. Maye had 618 completions for 8018 yards and 63 touchdowns over his career. He is a great quarterback who is in a good place to build his career and work to be a better athlete.

4. Cardinals

Marvin Harrison JR OSU WR

Harrison was the first wide receiver off the board in the NFL draft and was a good pick for the Cardinals but that means the quarterback have to pick his play and give him a chance to get the ball. He is 6’3 and 209 lbs out of Ohio State. Harrison had 155 receptions for 2613 yards and 31 touchdowns. These stats will be similar in the NFL and he will also have some of the same awards and recognition he got at the Buckeyes.

5. Chargers

Joe Alt OT ND

Alt was the first offensive lineman off the board and he was great at Notre Dame where he spent his playing career. He is 6’9 and 321 lbs where he blocked for many quarterbacks and only allowed two sacks during his career. Alt played in 38 games and started in 33 of those. He is ready for the NFL as a tackle and will be hard to get past on gameday.

6. Giants

Malik Nabers WR LSU

Nabers had a great career in the SEC for the Tigers and worked harder than many on that team to get where he is today. He is 6’0 and 200 lbs and suited up in 38 games for LSU. Nabers had 189 receptions for 3003 yards and 21 touchdowns for the Tigers. His career with the Giants will be a struggle if they don’t have a team around him and they don’t currently have that.

7. Titans

JC Latham OT Alabama

Latham played with some of the best in college and competed against the best. He is 6’6 and 342 lbs and also one of Nick Saban’s final draft pick. Latham was a two year starter for the Crimson Tide where he allowed very few sacks and was a phenomenal blocker.

8. Falcons

Michael Penix JR. QB UW

The first surprise of the draft Penix joins the Falcons and Kirk Cousins. Penix is 6’2 and 216 lbs and was a great quarterback for the Washington Huskies where he played with many great wide receivers. He had 725 completions for 9544 yards and 67 touchdowns. He will have to fight for the starting job against Kirk Cousins but he will also get to sit and ride the bench learning behind a great of this era in football.

9. Bears

Rome Odunze WR UW

Odunze had a great career in Washington where he played with Penix. He is 6’3 and 212 lbs he is another wide receiver who is ready to jump in and play ball the only problem is that the Bears will need to use him and Williams in the right way to produce wins. He had 214 receptions for 3272 yards and 24 touchdowns. Odunze is someone who will help the Bears tremendously over the years and will do it from day one.

10. Vikings

JJ McCarthy QB Michigan

McCarthy was the fifth quarterback in ten picks in this years NFL draft and was a great choice for the Vikings. He is 6’2 and 219 lbs which is a good size for a quarterback in the NFC North. McCarthy had 482 completions for 6226 yards and 49 touchdowns. He won the national championship and went 15-0 in his last season in Michigan. He will continue to play at his level because of the team he went to and will also produce results from day one. McCarthy will be the starter this fall for the Vikings.
