The MLB Draft has come to a close and BYU had two drafted this year. These two were picked in the later rounds of the tenth and twentieth rounds.

Austin Deming was drafted by the Houston Astros. Deming is 6-0 200lbs from Santa Clara Utah. During his first year as a Cougar, he played in 34 games with 22 runs, 17 RBIs, and two home runs. His next season he played in 13 games with three runs and nine RBIs. In the 2021 season, he played in 29 games with 12 runs, five RBIs, and two home runs.

His junior year he played in 54 games with 33 runs, 28 RBIs, and five home runs. Demings final season as a Cougar he played in 41 games with 50 runs, 68 RBIs, and 19 home runs. Over his careers he played in many games, tournaments, and WCC championship tournaments.
