New Years

Vikings fans are feeling a little down and gloomy this year. The topsy-turvy season has been turned on its head and not even New Years with its hopes and dreams could reverse the downhill path the team has taken. The 13 wins of last season seem like an eternity ago.

The quarterback carousel. The disappearance of Marcus Davenport. The late season collapse of our defense. Sometimes it was too much to bear. But we as fans of the Purple are trained to soldier on, even when all hope is lost.

But Vikings fans, I have come to bring you some spirit and joy. Please don’t be sad. Don’t look at this period of time as the end of a dismal season. Rather view it as the start of another season. The 2024 football season.

2024 Wishes

And with that I would like to share some of the wishes that I have asked of the football gods this year. Sung like the 12 Days of Christmas (without the repeated stanzas), I hope this story gives you a chuckle and puts a smile on your face. And just maybe, the Vikings and their fans may receive some early holiday gifts in 2024.
