In an important matchup for Ligue 1, Kylian Mbappé helped get the win while also breaking the all-time scoring record for PSG.
Mbappé’s on a fast track to becoming one of the greatest soccer players in history, all at the ripe old age of 24. He’s got the speed, the skillset and the mindset to make it so.
Even If he were slow he’d still be considered a good player. But he’s lighting fast. He can often outpace sprinting defenders in full pursuit while fully controlling his dribble.
Mpabbé breaks everything
Mbappé is a man on a mission to become the best. Many think he already is. The primary competition he has for that title, Lionel Messi, is on the same team.
Mbappé broke the all-time record for Ligue 1 goals for PSG in the last game vs RC Lens.
Remember when he won the Golden Boot? He broke that too.
But he’s not just a wrecking ball. Mbappé’s more than capable of splitting the defenders with perfectly placed passes. His shots are almost never about pure power, either.
PSG is trying to win their 11th league title. And it’s not as if they don’t have the talent to do it.
The powerhouse
Mbappé and Messi together would be an absolutely dreadful combination in the eyes of the defenders, and possibly too much to overcome even if it were just them and a bunch of scrubs. It’s not. Their whole team’s a powerhouse from the ground up.
Even if those two guys weren’t zipping across the pitch for PSG, the legend of Neymar is there. Sergio Ramos is creeping up behind you.
Think your team’s got a scoring chance against them? Not likely. Brazilian beast born Marcos Aoás Corrêa but commonly referred to as Marquinhos might say otherwise.
Then there’s the goalkeeper.
It’s a nightmare through and through and it’s firing at you on all cylinders. It still seems unfathomable that they can even lose games.
