Panthers QB Bryce Young (9) - Chanelle Walker/Carolina Panthers

With the recent bad reputation of the Carolina Panthers developing quarterbacks, don’t blame Bryce Young.

The second-year quarterback has all the talent to be an NFL starting quarterback, but he has only started in 18 NFL games.

It’s premature to give up on the No. 1 overall pick of the 2023 NFL draft already.

After being benched by head coach Dave Canales in week 3, he showed maturity by taking responsibility for the team’s 0-2 start.

Below are four NFL teams that Young could join next.

Four Probable NFL Teams Bryce Young Could Join Next

1. Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins have already brought the heat to Miami, but they need to feel the heat by finding a long-term solution to replace the concussed signal caller, Tua Tagovailoa.

They already have fire-burning skill-position guys like Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

Additionally, the Panthers wished they had that type of talent at the receiver core and a fast back in DeVon Achene.

Nevertheless, the 23-year-old is talented but has Doug Flutie syndrome because he has trouble seeing gigantic linemen.

But Flutie proved the doubters wrong with his magic.

Could Young prove the doubter wrong with some “Miami Magic?”

2. Pittsburgh Steelers

The sample size is small, but Justin Fields has looked serviceable and mobile in the Steelers (3-0 start).

There’s a reason head coach Mike Tomlin is the longest-tenured coach in the NFL.

After Big Ben left, questions raised concern about whether Tomlin could tailor his offense to the next signal caller.

After the short-lived Kenny Pickett experience, Tomlin has succeeded in catering his offense to Field’s strengths.

Tomlin needed a dual-threat quarterback who could manage the game and help the Steelers continue playing old-time Pittsburgh ground-and-pound football.

However, Fields is only on a one-year deal, and bringing Young could help reset their salary cap at the game’s most important position.

Plus, his skill sets are similar to Fields’ in that he is a smart kid who can make big plays with his arms and legs.

Can the Cali kid fit well in Blue Collar Pittsburgh? This could be a match made in heaven.

3. Los Angeles Rams

If Sean McVay wants a potential long-term solution for Matthew Stafford and Stenson Bennett, having him revive his pro career in his home state would make sense.

McVay is an offensive expert who did well with Stafford at the controls, winning Super Bowl 58.

After a hangover season in 2022-23, the Rams made a surprise run to the NFC playoffs last year, where they were close to upsetting the Detroit Lions at home.

Young can come and learn from Stafford until a transition is ready to be made.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (1) – Joe Camporeale/Imagn Images

4. Arizona Cardinals

If the Cardinals decide to do the vibe thing and bring in Bryce Murray, I mean Young in, it’s like current Cardinals QB Kyler Murray will have the twin he’s never had.

After all, both are 5’10”, mobile, and talented, but they have height issues. At least Murray has overcome his struggles with seeing over the line.

Maybe Young will have the same luck in being in the same room and being mentored by Murray.

But the Cardinals might need Young. With so many injuries causing players to miss time this year, this might be a better-safe-than-sorry move.

Who Could Young Join Next?

We learned that all four of these are good choices, but Coach Canales has no interest in trading the troubled but talented quarterback as of right now.

What’s the future for Young in Carolina? Andy Dalton isn’t going anywhere soon.

At least Young’s taking his bench like a pro, and his future is still bright. He has plenty of opportunities to show he can be an NFL starting quarterback.

The question still looms in the national sports media: What team could Young join next if not Carolina?
