BYU added a few players this past month to their list of players who are in the NFL. This list is of all those who are on a team for the upcoming 2024 season. The players below left their mark on BYU Football and they will hopefully get a chance to leave a mark on the NFL.

Tyler Allgeier is 5’11 and 220 lbs he played for BYU from 2018-2022. During those four seasons, he played in 41 games and had 452 attempts for 2904 yards and 36 touchdowns. He also caused a fumble against Arizona State in 2021 to help the Cougars win that game.

Allgeier was a draft pick in the 2022 NFL draft. He was drafted by the Falcons in the fifth round and pick 151. In his first year, he played in 17 games and had 186 attempts for 683 yards and four touchdowns. Last season he played in 16 games and had 210 attempts for 1035 yards and three touchdowns. Allgeier holds many records for the Falcons and will continue to break more due to his attempts to gain extra yards. This year Allgeier will be the starter again and will also probably break another 1000 yards this season.

Zayne Anderson S Packers

Anderson is 6’2 and 206 lbs he was a Cougar from 2015-2020. His years in Provo included a couple of redshirts and the Covid year which was his last. He played in 39 games and had 162 tackles, three interceptions, five pass deflections, and five fumbles.

Last season he played in 10 games and had three tackles. He looks to have another year with the Packers and be there to play third-string or even backup if he can put in the work to prove to the coaches that he can handle that spot.

Hayes was picked up by the Giants this year after not playing this season. He is a good pick-up for the Giants and will be one they can rely on if they need him. Hayes won’t be a starter this season but he can work up to that if he shows the Giants he is valuable to their defense.
