Chet Walker, who passed away at the age of 84, played in the NBA for 13 years, from 1962 to 1975. He was really good, making it to the All-Star games seven times! He also helped the Philadelphia 76ers win the big championship in 1967. People loved watching him play because he was so talented.

In 2012, Chet was honored by being put into the Basketball Hall of Fame. That’s a big deal and shows just how great he was. The Chicago Bulls, another team he played for, also celebrated him by putting his name up in their arena.
