BYU Football took advantage of National Signing Day and went out and got some big-time recruits to add to their Big 12 roster. Below are the top five recruits for BYU Football and then also the rest of the 2024 National Signing class.

1. Danny Saili DT

Hometown: Topeka, Kansas
Breakdown:
This defensive tackle has solid blocking which will be nice when it comes to stopping the run. He can quickly close those routes for the running backs to run through and gain extra yards on the play. That will be big for the Cougars as they allowed way too many run yards this past season. Saili can also make nice moves to break the line and get to a quarterback.
2. Luke To’omalatai DT

Hometown: Henderson, Nevada
Breakdown:
Toomalatai will be a great addition to the defensive line for the Cougars. He can quickly break through the line and get to the running back or the quarterback in the backfield. Toomalatai has great eyes to track down the quarterback and pursue him to make that tackle either in the backfield or downfield. He will be a big problem for any opposing quarterback.
3. Sani Tuala DL

Hometown: Australia
Breakdown:
Tuala is explosive, has a nice size for a defensive lineman, and is great at tracking down a quarterback.
4. Ryner Swanson TE

Hometown: Laguna Beach, California
Breakdown:
Swanson can gain extra yards after making the catch with his size and speed. He also can make catches both at short and long yardage which will be great to give the starting another target downfield. He will be the next Isaac Rex or Matt Bushman for the Cougars.
5. Faletau Satuala S

Hometown: Bountiful, Utah
Breakdown:
Satuala has great ball-handling skills so he can make those interceptions when needed. He can also track down where the quarterback is going to throw the ball downfield so he makes those adjustments to go make a play on the ball. Satuala may be the next Kai Nacua.
