Colorado Football

Colorado is jumping the PAC-12 ship and rejoining the Big 12 in 2024. This article will be kept updated as more reports come in.

This jump for the Buffaloes will be great for them. Colorado was a member of the Big 12 for 62 years before leaving in 2010. When the Buffaloes made the move it hurt the university as a whole. They have not seen much success in any of its athletics events over those years and now will return to the Big 12 conference. This move will be good because the PAC-12 is going down as a conference and most likely won’t be one in the next five seasons. Colorado is expected to have a meeting tomorrow at 5pm EST to make the final vote to accept the invite.

The presidents of the Big 12 voted today and were in meetings today as they discussed Colorado rejoining the conference. The vote was unanimous amongst the Big 12 presidents. Also reports from that meeting have said that there might be someone else who gets an invite. They also mentioned it won’t be from one of the four corner schools. This other school could be another PAC-12 school or another from the AAC.
