This is the final week of Big Ten matchups in the 2023 regular season. As it is the last time that fans will get to see some of these teams play this year, it is important to highlight all the matchups this week. Some teams have been having an exceptional season while some disappointed a bit. Either way, this college football season has been an interesting one. Here is a look at this week’s Big Ten matchups.

Big Ten Matchups to Watch

The order of these games is not in order of the hype surrounding the game. They are arranged from the first game of the weekend to the last. This week, there are a couple of games on Friday, which will be the first games listed.

17 Iowa @ Nebraska

Friday, Nov. 24: 12:00 P.M. Eastern

The first game of the weekend is between the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Iowa is currently ranked 17th in the College Football Rankings, while Nebraska is sitting at a 5-6 record. The Hawkeyes have clinched the first spot in the Big Ten West, so even with a loss they are safe. Nebraska is still on the hunt for that sixth win and would love to end the season on a high note.

11 Penn State @ Michigan State

Friday, Nov. 24th: 7:30 P.M. Eastern

The next game up is between the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Michigan State Spartans. This game will take place at Ford Field in Michigan. It will be interesting to see what the fan turnout will be, as Penn State is expected to be well-represented. Michigan State has just four wins this season, and this is the chance for the Nittany Lions’ offense to step up.

2 Ohio State @ 3 Michigan

Saturday, Nov. 25th: 12:00 P.M. Eastern

This is the game that everyone is waiting for. Even those who do not follow the Big Ten will be tuning into this huge matchup. The winner of this matchup will head to the Big Ten Championship, and definitely make the College Football Playoffs. It may be a noon kickoff, but the energy will be high.

Indiana @ Purdue

Saturday, Nov. 25th: 12:00 P.M. Eastern

It may not be the most exciting matchup, but the Indiana Hoosiers will face the Purdue Boilermakers for the final game of the season. These are arguably the bottom two teams in the Big Ten, but to end the season positively is still just as important, especially when both teams are from Indiana, and would love to be known as the better team.

Wisconsin @ Minnesota

Saturday, Nov. 25th: 3:30 P.M. Eastern

The season did not go quite as Wisconsin would have wanted, but this Big Ten matchup is still important. Minnesota is just one win away from six wins, while Wisconsin still would benefit from a higher record when it comes to what bowl game they could get.

Maryland @ Rutgers

Saturday, Nov. 25th: 3:30 P.M. Eastern

This is a Big Ten matchup that may be more interesting than people expect. Both teams currently have six wins, but will heavily be pushing for one more this season. For most of the year, it looked as though Rutgers was the better team, but then for the past couple of weeks, that may have changed. Maryland put up a fight against Michigan but now will have to play at Rutgers.

Northwestern @ Illinois

Saturday, Nov. 25th: 3:30 P.M. Eastern

The final matchup of the weekend will be between the Northwestern Wildcats vs. the Illinois Fighting Illini. It may not seem exciting, but Northwestern has had a much better season than people expected. Both teams will want to be deemed the best in the state, but Illinois will also be seeking their sixth win of the season.
