Big 12 Football for 2024 will be exciting with 16 teams and who will compete for the championship. Check out the UCF schedule below.
Team Overview for 2023
UCF finished last season 6-7 and 3-6 in conference. The offense put up 487 yards per game which should have been enough to win them more games but they couldn’t find the endzone after making it into the redzone. The Knights’ defense allowed 391 yards per game which also didn’t help getting them into the win column. This season they will have to allow fewer yards and fight harder in the red zone.

These two have no previous matchups on the gridiron and this fall UCF will get the first win between the two of them.
Sam Houston
UCF and Sam Houston haven’t met on the football field before so this should be a great game this fall. They are predicted to win this game and be 2-0 headed into the TCU game.
TCU
These two have also never met up on the football field before this year. UCF is predicted to lose this matchup this fall in 2024. This matchup will happen many more times now that both are in the Big 12.
Colorado
The Knights and Buffaloes have never met on the gridiron before. This will become a common matchup over the years with these two now being in the same conference. UCF is predicted to lose this game and be 2-2 on the season.
Florida
The last time these two faced off was in 2021 when the Knights won 29-17. This game has been played three times and the Gators have two wins and will get a third one this fall.
Cincinnati
Last season these two played each other and UCF won 28-26. This series is in favor of the Knights at 5-4 and they will take the next win of this matchup.
Iowa State
This game will be a first for both teams but will be one that played many times in the Big 12 conference. UCF will lose this matchup in 2024.
BYU
UCF and BYU last faced off in 2020 in the Boca Raton Bowl where the Cougars won 49-23. This matchup sits at three games and the Knights have won two. They will also get the next win and put BYU at 2-6 in 2024.
Arizona
Arizona begins November on the Road to take on UCF. This matchup also has never been played before so look for this game to be a fun one to watch. UCF is predicted to lose this game.
Arizona State
Arizona State won the only game between the two of them 46-13 in 2002. UCF is predicted to lose this game as well in 2024.
West Virginia
These two faced off last season and West Virginia won 41-28 and have all three wins in this series. This time around won’t be any different when they hand the Knights another loss in 2024.
Utah
To finish off the season the Knights will be at home against the Utes who they have never played before. They will lose this first matchup and finish the 2024 season 4-8.
