The 2023 NFL season is officially over. It is draft season! The Tennessee Titans have decided to blow it up. Mike Vrabel is gone as head coach, and the team is moving on from veterans like Derrick Henry. They are still deciding whether Will Levis is the future quarterback. The Tennessee Titans have seven picks in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Tennessee Titans gained some draft capital in the Kevin Byard trade and some other minor transactions. Their third-round pick was traded away last year when they moved up for Levis. They also got Tyjae Spears with capital from that trade, so all in all, it was a good trade. Tennessee has the ability to be patient and can acquire talent.

The Tennessee Titans need the following positions: OT, WR, CB, EDGE, TE

The Tennessee Titans need just about everything. On the offensive line, they spent their first-round pick last year on Peter Skoronski and might follow it up with another one this year. Protecting Levis will be imperative to give him a chance to perform. They also need some weapons. Spears is a solid back, but they do not have a reliable pass-catcher.

On defense, the Titans could use some talent at corner and the edge rusher positions. The bad news for the team is this edge rusher class isn’t very deep. There may be some gems in the later rounds, but overall, the Titans might have to be patient in that position.

Mock Draft Analysis

The Tennessee Titans focus heavily on the offense in this draft. More specifically, it is the offensive line. Joe Alt was on the board, and late-round picks Trevor Keegan and Garret Greenfield provide much-needed depth and potential. Stover fills a couple of needs. He is a tight end but also excels at blocking and can function as a sixth offensive lineman.

While cornerback is the number one need, there was never an opportunity to grab one. This is okay for a team like the Tennessee Titans. They have low expectations and have the ability to build from the ground up.
