Next up in the draft process is the Iowa Pro Day. This is when players can get one more chance to show off their skills to NFL scouts. They can also potentially improve their draft stock if they impress. The Iowa Pro Day will take place on March 18th.

Iowa Pro Day Information

As of now, the expectation is that four Hawkeyes will be participating. If anything changes beforehand, this list will be updated. Here is a look at the expected players are the Iowa Pro Day, and their draft projections.

Erick All – TE

Tight end Erick All is a player likely to participate in the Iowa Pro Day. All is entering the 2024 NFL Draft after five years of playing college football. He spent his first four years with Michigan before transferring to Iowa for the 2023 season. All did receive an invite to the NFL Scouting Combine. While All may be present, he did tear his ACL in October, so do not expect to see him run drills. He did say at the combine that his knee feeling good.

In five years, All had 75 receptions for 864 yards and five touchdowns, according to Sports Reference. All’s draft projection is lower due to the torn ACL but if he rehabs it well, he could turn into a solid player in the league. He may fall to the seventh round but has a chance to turn into a strong player for any NFL team.

Logan Lee – DL

After five seasons with Iowa, Logan Lee is heading to the NFL Draft. Lee also received an invite to the 2024 NFL Combine. Lee ran a 5.05, according to the NFL. Of course, the NFL Scouting Combine is more than just a time to show off skills, it is also a place for players to interact with scouts, coaches, and GMs.

In five years, Lee has had 158 combined tackles, 58 solo, 18.5 tackles for loss, and nine sacks, according to Sports Reference. He also defended seven passes and recovered two fumbles. He is expected to drop and go as an undrafted free agent.

Cooper DeJean – CB

After three years at Iowa, cornerback Cooper DeJean is heading to the Draft. DeJean did receive an invite to the NFL Scouting Combine. There he had the chance to meet with NFL teams such as the Philadelphia Eagles. DeJean is a potential first-round draft projection.

In three seasons, DeJean has had 120 total tackles, 85 solo, five tackles for loss, and has defended 13 passes, according to Sports Reference. He has also had seven interceptions, three returned for touchdowns. This draft is looking unpredictable, but DeJean’s ability to find the ball and strong coverage will make him a name to watch on night one.

Tory Taylor – P

Punter Tory Taylor is also heading to the NFL Draft. He spent four years with Iowa and was named First-Team All-Big Ten. In four years, Taylor has punted the ball 295 times with an average of 46.3 yards per punt, according to Sports Reference. Punters tend to fall in the draft, so if he is picked it will be on day three. If teams need a punter, Taylor is worth the draft pick.

The Iowa Pro Day will take place on March 15th. The players will also have time to schedule pre-draft visits with various NFL teams. After that, it’s the 2024 NFL Draft. The draft will take place April 25th-27th.
